Some weddings stand out even years after I have worked on them, and this is a wedding that was like that for me. The bride made a huge impression on me because of how very photogenic she was and how her happiness came through in a major way in every single shot.
I was also able to work on a variety of nighttime shots with this wedding, which isn’t something that’s always a part of my work. I really enjoy that type of setting because it requires a slightly different skillset and approach, and that adds the type of variety that I love.
Something else I was able to really capture in my edits was the abundance of pride the groom had in his new marriage. It’s a great thing to see, and I loved making it come to life even more in their photos.
